Weird week
This week is spring break at the college which makes it a little weird. It means that I don’t have class this week so I’m working fewer days and studying less. Which actually means I’m spending a fair amount of time goofing off.
Monday, I finished reading Old Man’s War by John Scalzi which was pretty good and which I will probably review in one of my future newsletters (though probably not this month’s newsletter). Then Britt and I met up with James and Megan to go meet some new gamers from parts South. The new gamers were interesting and seemed like nice folks. I hope they are able to find some additional folks to game with as, unfortunately, their schedules don’t mesh with ours.
Of course, the week’s not over yet and I expect the rest to include more goofing off with some board-game playing occuring somewhere in there, a trip to the Maple Fest, and work on the aforementioned newsletter.
Spring break is nice.
